• astonishemail.com developed full application from initial storyboards to hosting on heroku. Built with the driving ideal of creating an email marketing solution that would be very simple to use.
• ifttt.com; creating a backend api solution for the front-end ifttt site to interface with. The solution needed to handle GB's of traffic per day whilst interfacing with various backend providers for sms, email, voice calls and IM.
• equiteq created a bespoke management system to help analyse trends for prospecting mergers and acquisitions. Built using Ruby on Rails, with backend data mining services built in C#.

Spent 6 months abroad primarily doing volunteer work. I spent three months in Honduras with Coral Cay surveying the coral reef followed by two months in the Guyana rain forest with Trekforce building a ranger station.

Initial temp role within Customer Service at ntl Ltd (now Virgin) lead to a junior development role. I was responsible for creating an Intranet system from initial concept, to business critical application which replaced an existing paper based system. I taught myself HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make practical and useful applications for the Customer Service department.
